Zentel is a DRAM Design House with strong capacity and technology support from its strategic foundry.  Its product portfolio covers SDRAM, DDR-1, DDR-2 and DDR-3 from 64Mb to 1Gb.

Applications include hard drives, ADSL routers, cable modems, digital cameras, digital TV, set-top boxes and many others in the consumer electronics, computer peripheral and communications areas.

The following products are currently offered:

Zentel Electronics Corp. was established by Powerchip Semiconductor Corp. in December 2001 to enrich Powerchip’s product portfolio by designing dynamic random access memory (DRAM) using its advanced fabrication technology.

The products designed by Zentel were licensed to Powerchip for its manufacturing and sales to the computation and consumer electronics market.  In 2006, Powerchip decided to focus on its manufacturing and foundry business, handing Zentel the responsibility for marketing consumer DRAM under the Zentel logo.

Zentel is ISO9001 and ISO14001 compliant.

BCD are very proud to be representing Zentel in the UK and Ireland and can offer full technical design support through to delivery anywhere in the world..

Zentel offer a full DRAM product range which compliments BCD’s product portfolio and means we can offer our customers a compelling support package.

Although not a household name, Zentel are the “non PC” arm of Powerchip in Taiwan, who are themselves a design and production facility for Elpida.

Zentel offer a full range of DRAM products supporting some of the  legacy technology through to the latest DDR3 High Speed technology.

Through their direct relationship with Powerchip, Zentel are able to offer a very cost effective price structure and consistent delivery support in what is a volatile market environment.

As Zentel are not involved in the PC arena they are an important partner to Powerchip, bringing a consistent business level which is not as susceptible to market fluctuations.  As such, get reliable supply and support from the Fabs.
